One word. Many possibilities.
What does “free” mean to you? CTC Music Publishing and Typewriter Rodeo began with that question, inviting poets to explore a single word and composers to turn their poems into songs.
Join us at Studio A for an intimate afternoon of poetry and live music, presented by One Ounce Opera. Voices, piano, woodwinds, and percussion bring these different perspectives to life. The concert also makes room for the unexpected: audience-inspired songs created on the spot.
Tickets
General admission: $30
General admission + two raffle tickets: $45
Want to contribute an idea? The admission-and-raffle package includes two chances to provide a prompt for a live-written song. A word, a story, an object, or a movement could become the starting point for something new.
Seating is limited. Reserve your seat through One Ounce Opera’s official ticket page.
